Lawyers and Elections

Nobody should be surprised by this. And while the lawyers stuff their own pockets, they also succeed in making life more expensive for you. It's true that we have a near monopoly on law making, and pretty much a full monopoly on its interpretation. The more laws there are, the more work we have. So we keep cranking them out, at the expense of your freedoms and your pocketbook. I truly apologize for this.
