Today's View From the Unemployment Line

Hopped on my bike and rode down to North Beach to check out some professional beach volleyball. Today happened to be qualifying rounds for this weekend's tournament. Not sure whether I was supposed to pay to get in, but I walked through the fence and watched a couple matches. Like they say in the PGA Tour commercials, these guys are good. Nice to go to the beach and get some sun and watch some pro vball on a Thursday afternoon.

Following up yesterday's "Today's View From the Unemployment Line" question, who the heck are the hundreds of people just lounging around the lake on a Thursday afternoon? Don't they have jobs? You have to wonder how America is the world's leading economy on a day like this.
