So now the gates are closed 'til next spring when a new team takes the field. I saw Ronnie Woo Woo this afternoon in street clothes. I didn't know he owned anything other than a Cubs uniform. But like so many other Cubs fans, his uniform is likely folded neatly and shoved in the back of his closet, waiting for the winter freeze to subside just enough to let the Cubs return to the Friendly Confines in early April, instead of playing on this October.
