The Cubs entered the season with a Humvee budget, but the team played like the typical Cubs clunker. There will be many offseason moves. Moises, Nomar, and Clement almost certainly will be gone. Sammy might wear a different uniform, as well. But whatever happens in the offseason, for the 96th season in a row, "Next Year" will in fact have to wait til next year. There's always hope, but Cubs fans were really let down in 2004.
