In the Driver's Seat

What the heck, Navy is 5-0 this year??! After beating Air Force last night on a field goal with 4 seconds to play, Navy's 24-21 victory puts them in the driver's seat to retain the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy for the second straight year after it spent most of my formative years at the Air Force Academy. Bring on so-called #6 West Virginia, baby! Actually the Midshipmen head to the Meadowlands next week to play Notre Dame. Could be another barn burner. Last year, I was frozen in the stands, facing the outstretched hands of Touchdown Jesus when ND scored the game winning field goal as time expired. ND leads the series 67-9-1, including the last 40 in a row.

So in closing, Go Navy, Beat Army!
