Reality Bites

Now that the afterglow of Bud Selig's announcement that baseball is moving to DC has worn off, it's back to reality. Aren't we really just adding one more pathetic franchise to a stable of sorry, no-account DC-area sports teams (apologies to Wilbon)? Here is a list of the most recent records of DC's four major pro-sports franchises:

Redskins: 5-11
Wizards: 25-57
Capitals: 23-46-10
Expos: 67-95

I guess that's par for the course. On the plus side, the Expos will more than double the number of combined wins DC area sports fans have recently experienced over the course of a year. Pathetic.
