ANOTHER UPDATE: Spilling Over

The water has reached within a couple of feet of the house. What remains of the floating dock (its loss unrelated to this rain) continues to point upstream meaning the water is still on the rise. Hopefully, the mop will remain dry tonite, as I would prefer to watch the Final Four to emptying the basement of water.

But don't worry, this house comes equipped with an escape pod: the trusty sea kayak. It's a lifepod for one, however, so I guess I'll have to leave the roommate behind.
