Al Qaeda wants you to vote for John Kerry
Today's Baltimore Sun has a story about yesterday's Al Qaeda tape which begins with these two paragraphs:
CAIRO, Egypt - Osama bin Laden's chief deputy claimed the United States was on the brink of defeat in Iraq and Afghanistan in a videotape broadcast yesterday that appeared to be a rallying call for al-Qaida ahead of the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
"The defeat of America in Iraq and Afghanistan has become a matter of time, with God's help," Ayman al-Zawahri said on the tape, which was broadcast by the pan-Arab television station Al-Jazeera. "The Americans in both countries are between two fires, if they continue they bleed to death and if they withdraw they lose everything."
In case you can't read between the lines, Al-Zawahri is telling you to vote for John Kerry who has a plan to get our troops out of Iraq by the end of his wished-for first term. Please cast your vote accordingly.
